Chora
Chora or Naxos town is the capital of Naxos island and is located on the west side of it. This picturesque place offers several attractions such as the ancient gate Portara where you can admire the sunset and the wonderful Venetian style Castle.
The town is the busiest place on the island, full of hotels and apartments of all categories, from the cheapest to the most luxurious. Here you will also find many interesting shops with traditional stuff, great restaurants with traditional food and many bars and clubs.
Agios Prokopios
Agios Prokopios beach located 6 kilometers from the center of Naxos is one of the most visited beaches on the island and a great place to stay. The long beach has sand and a clear sea perfect for swimming and sunbathing.
Here you can find a wide variety of hotels, villas and apartments. There are also many restaurants, taverns, cafes and beach bars, so your nights will not be boring.
Agia Anna
Agia Anna is another great place to stay if you seek a relaxed and quiet atmosphere. It is the extension of the famous beach of Agios Prokopios and you can get there easily by the local bus from the center of the island.
The little picturesque harbor at the northern end of Agia Anna Beach with the various fishing boats add a unique beauty to the area.
