Adamas
The port of Adamas town is the island's primary gateway. Adamas is Milos's cultural epicenter and features a number of interesting museums. Several restaurants and cafés, as well as numerous lively bars, are also available. Adamas is well-known not just for its cultural landmarks but also for its stunning beaches and delicious food.
Pollonia
Pollonia is a small fishing village located in the northeast of Milos island. It is family-friendly and offers a relaxing atmosphere with a beautiful beach with sunbeds. Visitors can enjoy the seaside lane with restaurants, cafes, and traditional tavernas or stroll around the streets and along the seaside.
Pollonia is easily accessible by car or local bus from Adamas just 20 minutes away. Visitors can also choose from a variety of accommodations available for different budgets.
Plaka
Milos' capital, Plaka Village, is a must-visit for any admirer of Cycladic architecture or Milos' storied past. Visitors may get a feel for the tight-knit community by walking around the town's labyrinth of winding alleys and pathways.
The Venetian fortress, which dates back to the 13th century yet still stands, is one of the most visited sites in Plaka. Trypiti, Klima, and Triovasalos, three neighboring settlements, are well worth a visit. Several of the churches in Plaka are worth seeing. Two of these are the Panagia Korfiatissa and the Panagia Thalassitra.
The replica of the Aphrodite of Milos and the Lady of Fylakopi may be seen in the Archaeological Museum of Plaka. Objects from the late 19th and early 20th centuries are on display in the Folk and History Museum.
Hikers may also go to the remnants of a Venetian castle, which overlooks Milos and provides an excellent vantage point for the island's dazzling sunsets.
Klima
Klima is a picturesque village on Milos island with multi coloured traditional fishermen's houses known as syrmatas. The village was an ancient harbor with a rich history dating back to 1100 B.C. Visitors can enjoy taking photos and admiring the sunset.
Klima is easily accessible by car or bike. Visitors can also rent traditional boat houses in Klima which offer a cozy traditional Cycladic interior design and a seafront location, offering a unique experience to the traveler.
